The Nabaligion

 The Nabataean religion was the religion of the nabataean people. Their religioan was a polythiest religion, meaning that they believed in the worship of multiple Gods and Goddesses.

 The Nabataeans usualy built a Pantheon for their gods, the pantheon was used to worship the common gods and seperate shrines for the more personal ones.

Common Gods

All in all the Nabataeans spread across the middle eastern region had a few things in common, one of them being their gods. They worshiped most local gods as well as Baalshamin Lord of heaven, Egyptian goddess Isis; goddess of health, marige and wisdom, Tyche was worshiped because she was said to bring luck and Dionysus god of  wine.

They worshipped their gods at temples, high places, and betyls. They were mostly aniconic and preferred to decorate their sacred places with geometric designs. Much knowledge of the Nabataeans’ grave goods has been lost due to extensive looting throughout history. They made sacrifices to their gods, performed other rituals and believed in the afterlife
